In Kota Kinabulu, Sabah, the Daily Express has reported that the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS)in the city is set to have its own digital campus radio station.
Transmission will reach up to 50 kilometres inland from the coast.
This follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the institution and Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) along the lines of three earlier campus radio stations around the country.
The campus radio station is to be run initially by second year students from the engineering school.
