Queensland to Review TV and Film Commission Role

Brisbane, Queensland. The Pacific Film and Television Commission (PFTC) CEO Robin James has announced an independent review into the strategic direction of the organisation. The review will form the basis for strategic direction of the Commission and business planning for the next five years.

Currently, the PFTC has the dual responsibility of offering a program that assists industry development while maintaining a high level of Australian and international production in Queensland for the betterment of the local economy.

The review will address the effectiveness of the PFTC Corporate Plan and how it operates including its range of investments and incentives schemes.

An outside consultancy has yet to be named.
