Barco New products at IBC 2006, Amsterdam
Digital broadcast vendor, Barco, a specialist in solutions of visualization and image technology for broadcasters, will be presenting at IBC 2006 a host of different solutions for the broadcast industry from set backdrop displays to its next generation Networked Broadcast Monitoring System for facility-wide, monitoring.
The Networked Broadcast Monitoring System offers a solution to view multiple sources simultaneously, preferably within a limited viewing field on one screen that ensures more accurate, exciting, and up-to- date coverage of events.
This is visualised with Barco’s OverView D series integrates unrivalled cutting edge DLP technology into 50" Display Wall systems that are designed and optimized for use in any 24/7 environment.
Barco will also debut its new IB-6 LED backdrop solution at IBC. The IB-6 delivers a stunning image to the television viewers at home. Furthermore The IB-6 combines high brightness with an excellent image uniformity and superb color gamut. By combining well proven LED technology with screen knowledge, interference between the camera and the LED pixel matrix, which can lead to Moiré patterns, is avoided. With its slim, sleek design, the IB-6 allows build up of almost any shape and size display and is ideal for installation in TV production studios.
Also at IBC, Barco will present its latest LCD innovations with 42" & 47" LCD displays for use in digital broadcast environments.
