Digital Broadcasters | Google Viacom Cooperate in New Project

Did you catch the big news that Google has partnered with Viacom's MTV Networks to test a video distribution platform that supplies ad- supported content online?

The deal will be the first time MTV content has been made available outside of MTV network's own Web site.

Some of the shows expected to be aired include MTV's "! Laguna Beach" and Nickelodeon's "SpongeBob SquarePants."

Then you can imagine tailor-made offerings to all of Google's country specific distribution networks.

This is likely to be a huge project.
