On the occasion of the visit to Cairo of Roh Moo-hyun, the President of Korea, Egypt and South Korea have agreed to cooperate in in the fields of ultra high-speed Internet, mobile telecommunications, digital multimedia broadcasting and wireless broadband Internet.
