Evansky promoted at APTN with worldwide responsibility

Evansky named VP of AP S&T operations

AT APTN, Nick Evansky has been promoted from director of technology for Associated Press Television News to be vice president and director of operations for AP Services & Technology. Evansky moves from London to New York to take up his new worldwide responsibilty at Associated Press Television headquarters.

Evansky, 39 led the conversion of APTN from analog to digital and oversaw the unification of AP's international technical groups. Before joining AP, he held positions at various broadcast and production companies, including BSB (now BSKYB) and NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corp).
