ND SatCom, in the business of supplying satellite -based, broadband VSAT, broadcast and defence communication network solutions has set up a 50/50 joint-venture in Gurgaon just outside New Delhi, India.
Partner is Grintex India Ltd whose chairman, Hariharan Gautam heads the project.
ND SatCom-Grintex Communications is to target the government and broadcast sectors not only in India but also in Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka.
The move is to cement ND Satcom's long term position in the region.
For the past three years, ND SatCom has been implementing a policy of establishing itself as a global company with strategic local representations. Headquartered in Germany, ND SatCom has subsidiaries in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Beijing (China), Dallas (USA) and Moscow (Russia). Furthermore, the company operates through its regional sales & service offices around the world, for example in Singapore.
