The first customer in Asia to use digital vendor TANDBERG's (TAT.OL) OpenStream Digital Services Platform is Oriental Cable Network (OCN) for its first video on-demand (VOD) content deployment in Shanghai.
Oriental Cable Network (OCN, formerly known as Shanghai Cable, operates the world’s largest metropolitan cable television service delivering 61 channels to over 4 million viewers. [That equates to perhaps a million or less households - Editor].
Respective executives handling the deal were Hu Li Qi, Ass GM of Oriental Cable Network. and Graham Cradock, VP and GM, TANDBERG Television Asia Pacific (Hong Kong).
