Phillipines: Ateneo University First Streaming webcast

March 21

Manila: INQ7.net reported that the Ateneo de Manila University is streaming live, graduation rites on the Internet on March 23-26 on its web site http://www.ateneo.ed/ scoring a Phillipines first.

The TV event is being organized by the Konrad Adenauer Center for Journalism with the help of digital broadcast services supplier, Mosaic Communications and the Ateneo Campus Network Group

This is not a 'first in Asia' however. The National University of Singapore did it in 2002.
