New Trade Show - a first and focusses on Sports Technology

March 6

Mark your diaries as C4-Sports will be the first electronic media trade show dedicated wholly to sports technology. The show will premiere July 18 and 19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and sponsored by Avid Technology.

C4-Sports will focus on the critical components of sports technology, and the extensive FMC conference will feature cutting-edge technical sessions and panel discussions designed to allow sports media production professionals to share and learn techniques specific to the sports television production environment.

Backing the event and the accompanying conference is Ben Kozuch, president and co-founder of Future Media Concepts who believes today's sports production facilities face new challenges presented by the push for high-quality HD media, as well as the rapidly growing demand for sports content on new platforms ranging from HD DVD to cell phones and other mobile devices.

On the subject of content creation, the second track will focus on innovative techniques and approaches to catch the audience's attention and enhance brand awareness. This track includes sessions such as "Automating Broadcast Graphics With Adobe Photoshop," "Shooting and Posting HD Sports Video as Used for MLB, NFL Films, and HBO Sports," and "HD Post-Production Primer."
